Yarrabin Happenings
We have had plenty of rain at Yarrabin lately! So it is very green , and all horses looking fat. Prior to that we had spent some time on the pool, looks good!, And one of our very handy travelers varnished all the decks/ verandas, all looking very fine!
April holidays are almost here, dont miss out on the lovely weather up here, rooms filling fast! During the holidays we have lots of things planned, picnic rides, night activities for the kids, BBQs in the bush.... give us a call.
We have a few weekends still available, if you wish to join us, make a plan, book a spot, remember if you wish to self cater that is an option. Holidays are filling fast, we would love to see you return.
The next holiday riding camps for kids are also starting to fill, they are being held over the June/July holidays, $590 per child , great value for a great time.
Happy Trails
Company time at Yarrabin
Get your company at Yarrabin for a Leadership and Horses workshop (and... invite your family over to Yarrabin for free)!
Leadership and Horses is an intuitive approach to skill development by blending psychology, animal behaviour, somatics (mind/body/spirit) and leadership theory into an experiential learning model.
"Success is achieved by development of our strengths, not by elimination of our weakness." - Marilyn Vos Savant
A relationship, and indeed just working with a horse, an animal who is intuitive and often mirrors how we are feeling and presenting our selves, can be an insightful activity to develop:
- confidence
- intention
- follow thru
- the ability to center self, and maintain steadiness
- the power of positive thinking
Yarrabins Leadership development offer involves experiential activities that incorporate ideas behind self leadership and leadership of others. To receive more information by post or to have a chat, please don’t hesitate to contact Annie Phillips at 02 6337 5712.
As a thank you for organizing your company’s workshop at Yarrabin (minimum of 6 participants), you can come for a fun weekend with your whole family (max. 2 adults, 3 children) or friends (max. 4 adults) for FREE!!
The Graeme Memorial Charity Ride; Fundraising for the Cancer Council
This dayride/ community event was instigated by Will Phillips and his cousin Rosie. Last year they organized a group of us to walk in the relay for life Cancer Council fundraiser. This year that event is not being held in Bathurst, so they thought of another fundraising venture!
It will be held Saturday 19thMay. The ride will head out from Yarrabin 9:30, we will ride for three hours or so, around Yarrabin, and surrounding properties, and have a Bush BBQ in the lovely Yarrabin forest., Then for those who want some more riding we will go for another two hours or so around Menmuir in the afternoon.
You can either bring your own horse, and ride for $80pp, or borrow a Yarrabin horse for $100pp, this will include lunch, drinks will be on sale. For those who just want to join us for lunch you are welcome to do so, there is a road into the forest, and lunch will be $20pp.
