Join Us for the Horse Ride of a Lifetime – Through the Fabulous Snowy Mountains from Sat 21 Nov 09
 Have you ever dreamed of riding through the country made famous in the classic Aussie movie “Man From Snowy River?” Vast open plains, scenic backdrop of mountains, heritage shacks built in a time when cattle roamed the High Country...
Of course you have – and now we offer you the opportunity to join us and our team as we head for a 6 day adventure in the Snowy’s.
Our team, led by Jess, Mel and Annie, have been working hard on finding the best Snowy ride, with an operator who meets our high standards for riding, safety and pure enjoyment. (Jess is even returning from 4 months on a million acre Queensland cattle property, where she has been working as a Jillaroo. She will no doubt have loads of stories to tell, and will be an even better rider!!)
We believe we have found the perfect ride. But we only have a total of 20 spots and now there is only 4 of those left. So you will have to be quick if you want to join us for this ride of a lifetime...
Here are the details:
- Dates are from Saturday 21 to Thursday 26 November 2009
- Meeting point is at Adaminaby, where we will watch the Adaminaby Race Ride. Then stay overnight in the Snowgoose Hotel in Adaminaby
- 5 days horse riding commence Sunday 22 November
- All meals during the ride are included. BYO alcohol
- Ride accommodation every night is in a ”swag" in roomy tents. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow
- Most days include a spectacular variety of mountain scenery, brumbies in the wild, limestone gorges, aboriginal sites, mountain stockmens' huts and historical heritage sites
- Cost - $1250 per person payable at time of booking
Sound fantastic? Well, it is even more fantastic because you will be accompanied not only by the Yarrabin team, but also the 4 Christie girls – Annie, Katie, Trishy and JoJo! The 4 daughters of the Gavin and Sue Christie who started Yarrabin almost 50 years ago! The last time the 4 girls rode together was in Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon a few years ago... And that was a HOOT!!
